Education Centre Gippsland (ECG) commenced operations as a Commonwealth Education Centre in 1974; it began delivering adult and community education programs and services from its Leongatha site in 2003. ECG is a not-for-profit community organisation that delivers programs, services, training opportunities and accredited courses to the community. ECG offers industry training, new apprenticeships, literacy, basic education and hobby courses. The organisation engages with community members to ensure that the offerings are relevant to the needs and wishes of the target groups.
