George Street Neighbourhood Centre Association Inc is a community centre providing programs and facilities in the neighbourhood of South Mackay. The programs include finance counseling service, resource directory for sugar industry stakeholders, multicultural community program, adult literacy and numeracy programs, indigenous parenting program, consumer advisory group, toy library and senior friendship group. The Association also offers programs for adults from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Additionally, the Association offers childcare programs, health and well being programs and play groups for children.
