In this course, students will learn the theoretical and practical aspects of graphic design, with an option to specialise in one or more of the following areas: animation and visual effects for simulations, film, television and interactive games corporate identity design for marketing, advertising and business print technologies, packaging and publication design web design, interactive digital media and photo-media.

Students must have completed Diploma of Graphic Design and Communication (19211). A portfolio must be submitted. They must have proficiency in English with academic IELTS score of 6.0 or TOEFL (iBT) score of 60 or Certificate III in English for Further Study at TAFE NSW or equivalent.

Campbelltown College is the major training provider in the Macarthur region. It provides vocational education and training to over 7500 students in 100 plus courses each year. Located close to the M5 freeway and the main suburban rail system, the college is easily accessible with experienced and qualified professional staff to help students achieve their educational and career goals. The student population is multicultural and varied, and includes high school students, apprentices and trainees and mature students who are advancing their chosen careers or exploring the opportunities that are provided by our courses. Others are building bridges to further education and employment through specific programs or Outreach courses. The college's excellent facilities include those of the Campbelltown Art School which is a modern, purpose built facility, for training in painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, graphic design and digital media. The Campbelltown Art School has its own Exhibition Gallery and artists-in-residence program. Graphic Arts and Digital Media students utilize state-of-the-art computing facilities in their training. It also has outstanding facilities for Tourism and Hospitality, including an operational training restaurant, Restaurant Macarthur, which is open to the public for lunch and dinner, and is very popular in the region.
