पाठ्यक्रमबारे सारश
This qualification equips graduates to undertake roles within the field of accounting, both within business and accountancy firms. Roles can include assistant accounting duties involving supervision and control of accounting systems, maintaining internal control systems, preparation of financial statements for reporting entities, analysis of business performance, preparation of tax returns and management of a small team, office department or business unit. Upon completion of all four semesters (two years full-time), students are eligible to receive the Advanced Diploma of Accounting. On completion of the first two semesters, participants are eligible for the Certificate III in Financial Services (Accounts Clerical) and Certificate IV in Financial Services (Accounting). Completion of the third semester entitles students to receive the Diploma of Accounting, while completion of the fourth semester entitles students to the Advanced Diploma of Accounting. Graduates of this course can pursue a range of employment and career opportunities within the work place, including positions such as assistant or financial controllers. Graduates of the Advanced Diploma of Accounting receive advanced standing to further their qualifications to the Degree level. Students will be eligible for up to 12 credits towards Holmesglens Bachelor of Business (Accounting), which equates to 12 months of the full-time Degree program.

Students should have a good record at Year 11 level or the overseas equivalent or relevant senior employment experience. They must satisfy English language proficiency level of IELTS 5.5, ISLPR 2+, TOEFL 197 (CB) or 46 (iT), PTE Academic Score of 42 (no communicative skill score less than 42), Cambridge English: Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) of 47 or equivalent. A good background in Mathematics, Accounting or Economics is recommended.
