पाठ्यक्रमबारे सारश
This course aims to provide students with the professional skills and knowledge required for the design, drafting and documentation of residential, industrial and commercial buildings. Emphasis is on the design process, presentation and production of working drawings using industry standards. On completion of all units in the course students are eligible to receive the Advanced Diploma of Building Design (Architectural). It was accredited in 2008 by the Victorian Qualifications Authority and endorsed by industry stakeholders, including the Building Practitioners Board (BPB) and the Building Designers Association of Victoria. Graduates of this program will be able to progress to managerial positions within a building or architectural drafting office, after acquiring relevant experience. Graduates of the Advanced Diploma of Building Design (Architectural) may have the opportunity to articulate into degree programs, including Holmesglens Bachelor of Applied Science (Built Environment). Individuals may apply for credit and direct articulation into the degree program.

Students should have a good record at Year 11 level or the overseas equivalent and preferably some relevant work experience. They must satisfy English language proficiency level of IELTS 5.5, ISLPR 2+, TOEFL 197 (CB) or 46(iBT) or PTE Academic Score of 42 (no communicative skill score less than 42), Cambridge English: Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) of 47 or equivalent.
