This course is for people who work, or want to work, in the events industry as an events manager, venue manager, conference manager or exhibitions manager. Students will acquire wide-ranging, highly specialised technical event management skills with a strategic research, planning and communication focus. Students will have to attend some weekends and holiday workshops. Career opportunities include events manager, venue manager, conference manager or exhibitions manager.

Students must have completed 18075 Diploma of Events. They must also demonstrate English language ability such as, suitable results of a recent academic IELTS - score 5.5 overall with no individual band lower than 5.0, or TOEFL (iBT) 51, or successful completion of TAFE NSW Certificate III in English for Further Study, or proof that the medium of instruction at school has been in English with satisfactory grades in English in final examinations.
