This course incorporates the Certificate IV in Music Business within the first year of study. It covers the business side of the music industry and offers valuable insight and information to those seeking a career in the industry. The course is specifically designed to enhance the career prospects of those working creatively in music - writers, composers, performers and those planning to work in the many and varied business areas of industry. Future professionals will gain the specific music industry knowledge and business skills needed to survive and prosper in an industry undergoing rapid and fundamental change. The advanced diploma course is fast gathering a reputation for providing skilled and knowledgeable workers. Many graduates are engaged in operating their own small businesses, whilst many have found employment in record companies, publishing, industry associations, artist and event management, retail, promotion, venue operating, booking agencies and publicity.
