This course is the most comprehensive hands on tertiary music course on offer with limited class sizes to ensure maximum development of performance skills. This course offers more in two years than most degree courses offer over three years. The only course in Australia dedicated with a dedicated jazz focus. It is a hands on creative approach so that anyone of any standard can improvise, at the same time learning all about theory/harmony and its application to music performance. On successful completion students will be able to analyse music, sight read, harmonise and improvise over chord changes, as well as being able to compose tunes in a variety of styles.

Students must be minimum of 18 years of age and they should have a TOEFL Test score of 970 or IELTS score of 5.5.
