Students must have completed an Australian year 12 senior secondary school certificate or its international equivalent. If 12 years of education has not been completed, applicants with an equivalent Australian year 11 and at least a certificate IV qualification or a partially completed university degree may be considered. They must be at least 18 years of age (or turning 18 before the end of the first practical term) and provide original certified copies of any academic and professional qualifications (including the original language and translated document if applicable). In addition they must have a minimum level of English language competency of IELTS score of 6.0 academic (valid IELTS certificate of not more than two years old must be provided).

This School was established in 1991 and has provided international qualifications in hospitality and tourism management to over 2500 graduates, many now in senior management positions worldwide. The School has two campuses - one located in Leura NSW, which is a residential campus and runs as a fully operational simulated hotel, where the students are guests as well as the staff. Located in the Blue Mountains National Park, just 90kms west of vibrant Sydney, the campus is home to students from all around the world. The executive business campus, due to open fully in late September 2011, is located in the heart of Sydney. Students are provided with a quality education delivered by skilled and experienced academic staff which ensures students have balanced and holistic approach to their study. Faculty work closely with industry leaders to maintain relevant course content that can be used in today's world.

Students in years one and two must live on campus, as this provides an opportunity to bond closely within the international student community and meet the demanding schedule of applied terms including late and early shifts. The student rooms are serviced once a week and all linen is provided. All student rooms have a private telephone line and 24/7 access to both the School intranet and internet.
