In this course, students will gain skills and knowledge in aquatic chemistry and biochemistry; aquatic animal nutrition; aquatic animal health and diseases; seafood processing and food safety; business management and marketing and fish, mollusk and crustacean aquaculture. With rapid expansion of the Australian and international aquaculture industry in both marine and fresh water sectors there is a need for skilled professionals to improve sustainability in both production and management. Graduates will be at the forefront of food supply industries with careers as managers/owners/operators of aquaculture farms and government advisers on aquaculture policy.

अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विद्यार्थीहरू प्रवेशको लागि आवश्यकता

Students must have completed a Year 12 VCE/HSC or recognized equivalent with Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics, or Successful completion of a TAFE Diploma course in aquaculture, or mature age entry where applicants can demonstrate capacity to undertake work at degree level. An additional requirement for international students is International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Level 6.0.
