This degree is the undergraduate degree pathway to the accredited postgraduate Master of Architecture degree which has professional recognition from the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia (AACA), NSW Architects Registration Board and Australian Institute of Architects (AIA), and a range of international accreditation agencies. Key areas of study include: Architectural Design, Architectural Communications, Architectural History and Theory, Architectural Technology, Elective Course Studies. Graduates have several options after completion: continue to Master of Architecture, conclude Study and Enter the Workforce, pursue Other Postgraduate Coursework Qualifications.

Applicants will be considered for admission to this program at UNSW on the basis of their performance in any of the following: Australian and New Zealand senior secondary studies; University or other post-secondary qualifications; equivalent overseas qualifications; an alternative entry qualification. They must also satisfy the following English language requirements: IELTS overall score of 6.5 with a minimum score of 6.0 in each of the sub-tests of speaking, listening, reading and writing; TOEFL - Internet-based Test (iBT) overall score of 90 with a minimum score of 24 in writing; TOEFL - Paper-based Test (PBT) overall score of 577 with a minimum score of 5.0 in the Test of Written English (TWE); successful completion of the UNSW Institute of Languages University English Entry Course with a grade of C+ (grade point 7.0) and a minimum score of 20 in the writing component; overall score of 68 in Pearson Test of English academic version and successful completion of the ANU College Access Program with a minimum of 70 per cent overall.
