This double degree gives students the opportunity to apply their business skills within the exciting industry of digital entertainment and electronic games. They will not only expand their business skills but also their creative skills through the development of computer games and other forms of interactive media. They will learn to apply their critical creative thinking to identify issues and solve problems related to various technical, creative and cultural aspects of games development. Being creative and innovative are strong skills to have in business. Students can specialize in animation, digital media, game design or software technologies. They can choose for major in accountancy, advertising, economics, finance, human resource management, international business, management, marketing, or public relations. Graduates may find employment in management roles within the games and entertainment industry, such as project manager, production manager, producer, content manager, business development manager, product manager or marketer. The software technologies major of the Bachelor of Games and Interactive Entertainment is accredited by the Australian Computer Society (ACS).

Students from India should have obtained CBSE Year XII with at least 80 per cent average grade. Students from other countries should have specific country wise requirements equivalent to Australia. They must have sound knowledge in the area of English. They must have knowledge equivalent to four semesters at high school level (Years 11 and 12) with sound achievement (English (4, SA) and Math A, B or C (4, SA)). They must also meet English proficiency requirements with IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score of 6.5 and TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language overall score of 90.0.
