In a global business world, targeted skills in international business are valued in both the public and private sectors. Conducting business across borders and cultures requires specialised skills and knowledge. This program combines a solid foundation in business with dedicated studies in international business. In the first year, students complete general business courses in economics, management, marketing, research methods, accounting, business law and ethics, and informatics. They then undertake specialised studies in the principles of international business, cross-cultural management, international marketing, export management, trade and finance, and global e-business. Career opportunities include Export or import management, international marketing, foreign affairs, international logistics, international business strategy. Students and graduates may become members of the Australian Institute of Export; Australian Institute of Management; Australian Marketing Institute; Academy of International Business.

Students must have completed Australian Year 12 with good grades and must have prior knowledge in English and Maths. Students must satisfy any one of the following English language requirements: IELTS (Academic) score of at least 6.0, with a minimum of 5.5 in all subtests; a TOEFL score (paper-based test) of at least 550, with essay score of 4; TOEFL score (internet-based test) of at least 76, with a minimum writing score 18 or successful completion of Direct Entry English Pathway, with a minimum grade of 65 percent.
