In the search for international competitiveness, management skills and vision are vital to the success of any organisation. In this program students examine several key themes reflecting the challenges facing practising managers. These include: leadership, change, strategy, globalisation, human resource management, ethics and social responsibility, and small business management. They learn to establish good working environments that allow staff to develop and work effectively, understand organisational change, critically assess management ideas, and combine management and technical skills. Specialised studies include project management, cross-cultural management and leadership and team dynamics. Career opportunities include Business management, administration, industrial relations, management consultancy, public or private organisation management. Students and graduates may become members of the Australian Human Resources Institute; Australian Institute of Management.

Students must have completed Australian Year 12 with good grades and must have prior knowledge in English and Maths. Students must satisfy any one of the following English language requirements: IELTS (Academic) score of at least 6.0, with a minimum of 5.5 in all subtests; a TOEFL score (paper-based test) of at least 550, with essay score of 4; TOEFL score (internet-based test) of at least 76, with a minimum writing score 18 or successful completion of Direct Entry English Pathway, with a minimum grade of 65 percent.
