Marketing plays a pivotal role in the success of any business. In this program students learn how to design, implement and manage effective marketing strategies, and how to understand people and their buying patterns. Specialised courses include consumer behaviour, services marketing, promotions management, sport and event marketing, advanced research methods, international marketing, and strategic management. They choose to major in either Marketing Research or Applied Marketing and are encouraged to undertake practical work-related projects in association with industry. Career opportunities include Business management, administration, industrial relations, management consultancy, public or private organisation management. Students and graduates may become members of the Australian Human Resources Institute; Australian Institute of Management.

Students must have completed Australian Year 12 with good grades and must have prior knowledge in English and Maths. Students must satisfy any one of the following English language requirements: IELTS (Academic) score of at least 6.0, with a minimum of 5.5 in all subtests; a TOEFL score (paper-based test) of at least 550, with essay score of 4; TOEFL score (internet-based test) of at least 76, with a minimum writing score 18 or successful completion of Direct Entry English Pathway, with a minimum grade of 65 percent.
