The BCMP at UNSW BE focuses on people and process management within the specific contexts of building construction, property development, quantity surveying and facilities management. It provides graduates with a unique opportunity to shape a management-ready career in the construction and property industries and equips them with skills that are readily transferable throughout the global economy. The specialised nature of building construction and property development provides a consistently strong demand for BCMP graduates. Starting salaries are excellent with outstanding growth potential. Careers might typically include working as a builder and/or developer, property and development consultant, on-site construction manager, project manager, quantity surveyor, facilities manager, building materials consultant or specialist legal advisor.

Applicants will be considered for admission to this program at UNSW on the basis of their performance in any of the following: Australian and New Zealand senior secondary studies; University or other post-secondary qualifications; equivalent overseas qualifications; an alternative entry qualification. They must also satisfy the following English language requirements: IELTS overall score of 6.5 with a minimum score of 6.0 in each of the sub-tests of speaking, listening, reading and writing; TOEFL - Internet-based Test (iBT) overall score of 90 with a minimum score of 24 in writing; TOEFL - Paper-based Test (PBT) overall score of 577 with a minimum score of 5.0 in the Test of Written English (TWE); successful completion of the UNSW Institute of Languages University English Entry Course with a grade of C+ (grade point 7.0) and a minimum score of 20 in the writing component; overall score of 68 in Pearson Test of English academic version and successful completion of the ANU College Access Program with a minimum of 70 per cent overall.
