In this dual degree course students develop their creative skills while meeting the academic requirements for admission to legal practice in Australia. They design theirown degree by exploring their creative talents and choosing a Creative Industries major, as well as studying law. They law offers flexible learning options such as downloadable lectures and practical experiences in the electronic moot court. Graduates may use their combined skills to work in-house as a lawyer for cultural institutions, government or regulatory bodies, or in law firms with specialist interests in the creative industries. Alternatively, they may work in the legal environment as a solicitor, barrister or in-house lawyer. If they choose to pursue a creative career, their legal knowledge will be of benefit in the process of commissioning projects, creative industries administration and contract negotiation. At the end of the law degree they will have completed the necessary units for admission to legal practice in Australia.

Students from India should have obtained CBSE Year XII with at least 80 per cent average grade. Students from other countries should have specific country wise requirements equivalent to Australia. They must have knowledge in English and have achieved this study at a level comparable to Australian Year 12 or in recognised post-secondary studies. They must also meet English proficiency requirements with IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score of 6.5 and TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language overall score of 90.0.
