In this course students combine their professional health knowledge with superior communication skills and proficiency with media technologies. They study the distribution of creative content in new media, television, radio, print, internet, mobile technologies, advertising, and public relations. They can study community nutrition, general studies in psychology, counselling, health education, Indigenous health, health science and women’s health. It prepares them for careers including health communication specialists, health and nutrition writers, health promotion officer and educators, health print and online editors, and e-health marketers. Graduates are eligible for membership of the Public Health Association of Australia and the Australian Health Promotion Association.

Students from India should have obtained CBSE Year XII with at least 80 per cent average grade. Students from other countries should have specific country wise requirements equivalent to Australia. They must have sound knowledge in the area of English, chemistry and maths B. They must have achieved this study at a level comparable to Australian Year 12 or in recognised post-secondary studies. They must also meet English proficiency requirements with IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score of 6.5 and TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language overall score of 90.0.
