This course recognizes the prior learning and experiences that have been acquired by graduates from their first degree, and allows students to complete the law course in three years full-time or five years part-time or external. It is recognized for solicitor’s admission in East Malaysia, Fiji, and Papua New Guinea (also in India and West Malaysia after completion of qualifying exams). Graduates can work as a lawyer across a wide range of different legal areas; lawyer specialising in a particular area of the law, such as property, family or media law; act for clients in court or resolve disputes through negotiation and mediation processes; work in policy, research or administration in a government department and in management or administration in a business.
अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विद्यार्थीहरू प्रवेशको लागि आवश्यकता
Students from India should have obtained CBSE Year XII with at least 80 per cent average grade. Students from other countries should have specific country wise requirements equivalent to Australia. They must have completed a non-law bachelor degree (or equivalent). Students who are admitted to the graduate entry program will automatically received one year of advanced standing which will entitle the student to complete the degree in three years (full-time). They must also meet English proficiency requirements with IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score of 6.5 and TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language overall score of 90.0.
