This unique degree on musical development through performance. Classical voice students will have the opportunity to explore a variety of classical vocal styles through a range of performance experiences including solo vocal, and small and large vocal ensembles. The curriculum features an integrated approach to concepts of theory, linking each concept with practical experience. Classical voice students will also gain skills and experience in aspects of technical theatre including stage management, sound and lighting for theatre, design and directing for theater. It is ideal for students considering a career in the music industry as a professional musician, recording or sound engineer, performing or recording artist or composer. Other career options include primary, secondary and tertiary teaching, private studio work, and music related careers in arts administration, communication or creative industries businesses.

Students should have sound or satisfactory achievement in three academic subjects in Year 12 or equivalent. They should also have an overall IELTS band score of 6.0 (with no individual band score of less than 5.0), or a TOEFL score of 550 (Internet-based score of 79 or computer-based score of 213), including a TWE of 4.
