This course is designed for those students who are seeking a four year sequence in psychology. The degree offers concentrated study in psychology for students who want a thorough exploration of the discipline and the opportunity for specialization in their third year before conducting a major research project in the Honors year. It includes courses in the major substantive areas of psychology, together with comprehensive training in the research design and data analysis techniques used in psychological science. Students are expected to maintain a high level of academic excellence in psychology courses. The main areas in which psychologists are employed include clinical, organizational, health, community, counseling and educational/developmental psychology. Psychology is an excellent preparation for broader graduate employment. Psychology graduates gain analytical, quantitative, report writing and communication skills that are focused on the issues and problems confronting human beings.

Students must have completed an approved tertiary preparation course or alternative entry scheme; they will be assessed on the results of that scheme alone, unless they have undertaken subsequent study. International students whose native is not English should have the following English qualifications: Academic IELTS - an overall score of 6.5 with at least 6 in each component of the test; TOEFL (paper based test) - a score of 570 with TWE score of 4.5; TOEFL (computer based test) - a score of 230 with Essay score of 4.5 or TOEFL (internet based test) - a score of 90, with a minimum of 20 in all four sections.
