This course allows students to create a program to suit their individual preferences, commencing with a broad range of subjects in first year and gradually specialising in two discipline areas by third year. Students can combine a science major with a sequence of study from science or other disciplines. On completion, the scope for employment is broad and includes careers in fields such as biotechnology, materials science, chemical sciences, viticultural science, manufacturing, research science, or space physics.

Students must have completed Mathematics determined to be equivalent to the Australian VCE Units 3 and 4 Mathematical Methods (either) or Specialist Mathematics. They must have completed Australian year 12 or equivalent to other countries. They must also satisfy one of the following English language requirements: IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with no individual band score less than 6.0 or TOEFL Paper-based Test: a minimum score of 550 with a score of 5 or better in the Test of Written English or TOEFL Computer-based Test: a minimum score of 213 with a score of 5 in essay writing or TOEFL Internet-based Test: a minimum score of 80 with no individual score less than 20 or satisfactory completion of an English language subject at Year 12 or equivalent level which have been completed in the last two years and at an academic level acceptable to the University or approved equivalent.

This campus is one of the University's major regional campuses, with modern and attractive buildings, an excellent library and ready access to University-wide resources. The campus offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, with some courses being unique to the campus. Studying at the Albury Wodonga campus offers the advantage of personalised support and tuition from our dedicated staff. Wodonga is situated on the main train line between Melbourne and Sydney. Services are available seven days a week. Coaches from various centres also stop at the Wodonga Railway Station.

This campus has both on campus and off campus accommodation. Student Residences form the on campus accommodation. Residences consist of twelve units with six bedrooms, one with five bedrooms and one fully accessible unit with four bedrooms. All units cater for mixed genders. Each student has their own bedroom and shares the kitchen, laundry, bathroom and living area. Each unit is fully furnished and equipped with kitchen appliances. Students need to provide their own bedding, towels and electrical equipment such as stereo, bedside lamp, etc. Most students cook for themselves, but the nearby cafeteria provides meals at a reasonable cost.

This is the University's main campus. Students from over 90 countries live and study in the beautiful bushland setting. The atmosphere is vibrant and friendly and is only 14 km from Melbourne's city centre. This 330 hectare campus, northeast of Melbourne's city centre, includes a world-renowned library, research and development park, restaurants and shops, sports facilities, an art museum, residential colleges, entertainment venues, and the Melbourne Wildlife Sanctuary. The campus is well serviced by tram, bus and train.

Life in residence gives students a unique opportunity for intellectual, social and personal development in a safe and dynamic residential community. This campus has three residential colleges, two residential halls and two residential apartments. Residential colleges and halls are Self Catered (students prepare and cook food on their own) and have single bedrooms with shared bathrooms and kitchen. Residential halls Serviced by the campus bus. Residential apartments have fully furnished lounge, bedrooms and kitchen. They are ideal for families with children and married couples. They are serviced by the campus bus and are a short walk to central campus.
