This honours course extends and develops students knowledge of academic research methodology as it is applied to viticultural production and/or oenology. Graduating will demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills through the design and implementation of a supervised research project and preparation of an honours dissertation.

Students must be enrolled in Bachelor of Science (Viticulture and Oenology) or equivalent. They must have their semester weighted average of more than 65 percent in at least the previous two study periods of full time study. Students must satisfy the English language requirements such as IELTS academic (International English Language Testing System) Writing score of 6.0, Speaking score of 6.0, Reading score of 6.0, Listening score of 6.0, Overall band score of 6.0 and TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) paper based score of 550, Internet based (20 in each section) score of 80, minimum test of written English (TWE) 4.5 and CUTE (Curtin Uni Test of English) - C.
