This is a combined degree program that is designed to provide a broad education for students interested in both the health sciences and social sciences. Students undertake core courses in both areas, and combine them with social science and health sciences electives in their area of interest. This course focuses on Development studies and public health. Bachelor of Health Sciences students must complete a major sequence from one of the following disciplinary areas: Anatomical Sciences, Pathology, Pharmacology, Psychology, Public Health, Medical Microbiology and Immunology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Interdisciplinary streams of Neuroscience and Reproductive Health and Areas of study in the School of Molecular and Biomedical Sciences. Bachelor of Social Sciences students must also complete a major sequence from one of the following areas: Anthropology, Asian Politics and Foreign Policy, Asian studies, Development studies, Economics, Gender, work and social inquiry, Geographical and environmental studies, History, International studies, Linguistics, Philosophy, Politics and Psychology.
