This course is designed to provide first-line management skills to those coordinating or managing beauty salons or beauty departments; the Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy gives the students the skills to perform a range of functions from body treatments to advanced facial treatments. Students learn the techniques required for a broad range of beauty treatments: manicure and pedicure; waxing treatments; make-up services; facial treatments; body treatments; body massage. Students who successfully complete the Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy may advance to the Diploma of Beauty Therapy. Career opportunities include beauty specialist/therapist; day spa manager/owner; salon owner.

Students must have completed Certificate III in Beauty Services. Students must have completed an Australian Year 12 or relevant work experience. IELTS 5.5 or higher (or recognized equivalents) is required. Mature Age students are encouraged to apply.
