This course is designed to offer previous Certificate III students training for people wishing to work in parks and wildlife areas and includes hands-on and management plan training across a wide range of land management units. Possible job titles relevant to this qualification include ranger, community engagement officer, weeds field officer.

Applicants must have completed the Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management and or possess some relevant industry work experience. Also they should demonstrate their English language proficiency with an overall minimum TOEFL score of 550 and score of 4.5 in the Test of Written English (TWE), valid for two years, from the date of the test to the date of commencement at CDU; or with a minimum CBT score of 213 and a minimum score of 4.5 in the Essay Rating; or with a minimum IBT score of 79 and a minimum score of 20 in writing.
