पाठ्यक्रमबारे सारश

This course is designed to develop knowledge and skills over a broad spectrum of computing and information technology, particularly the use of software applications packages, introductory level software development (computer programming), web design, basic operating systems, hardware, networking and client needs analysis. The Certificate IV in Information Technology (Networking) can be offered in conjunction with the Certificate IV in Information Technology (Programming) to achieve a dual qualification. Students completing the dual qualification Certificate IV in Information Technology (Networking) and Certificate IV in Information Technology (Programming) are eligible for entry into the following advanced diplomas: Advanced Diploma of Information Technology (Network Security) or Advanced Diploma of Information Technology. Students are required to undertake studies for the equivalent of one more year full-time in order to complete the advanced diploma course. Graduates of this course may gain employment in the computer and information technology fields. They may work in network support, computer programming and help desk support. International students can only study the Certificate IV in Information Technology (Networking) in conjunction with the Certificate IV in Information Technology (Programming).

Students must have completed an Australian Year 12 (or recognized equivalent) or relevant work experience. English language proficiency equivalent to Academic IELTS overall band score of 5.5 for diploma level courses is required.
