पाठ्यक्रमबारे सारश

This course combines English studies with the Certificate IV Tertiary Preparation Program, to assist those with non-English speaking backgrounds. The program reinforces English language skills at the same time that students study one or two modules to be credited towards the Certificate IV TPP in Business, Computing, Communications or Science. Mixed English curriculum and syllabus materials focus on introducing students to the common academic genres and their uses; study and research skills as well as developing cultural knowledge through the study of current topics.

Students must have completion of year 11 or equivalent for the countries like Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, Brunei, Mauritius, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, International Baccalaureate, Japan, Kenya, Ghana; Malawi; Tanzania; Uganda; Zambia; Zimbabwe, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Taiwan, Macau, Korea, Thailand, Turkey, UAE and Vietnam. Mature age students (20 years of age and over) may be admitted to the Certificate IV without meeting the formal academic qualifications if they have relevant work experience and other acceptable qualifications. Students should have an IELTS score of 5.0, TOEFL 500 (new grading system 173 and internet 61), GCE 'O' Level C, English 1119 C, SPM English C, HKCEE English Syllabus (Post 2007) HKALUE Use of English 3D and KCSE C.
