In this course, students will develop their career and work in a professional graphic design practice or as an independent freelance designer. They will learn how to solve problems creatively, be imaginative, think laterally and transform problems by designing innovative solutions, and producing creative contemporary graphic designs. The course also teaches business planning, management skills, how to allocate work and provide feedback, how to manage their own professional development and time management skills.

Students must have completed Year 12 or equivalent. A portfolio must be submitted. They must have proficiency in English with academic IELTS score of 6.0 or TOEFL (iBT) score of 60 or Certificate III in English for Further Study at TAFE NSW or equivalent.
