In this course, students will learn the theoretical and practical aspects of interior decoration. This course is for people who want to enter the industry in a freelance capacity, as the owner/manager of a small business or as a decorator/manager in a decoration practice. This course also includes: business planning, project and financial management skills in the development of a project how to allocate work and provide support and feedback how to use effective leadership skills to manage others students will also learn to identify trends, fashions and technical developments, and apply knowledge of manufacturing, construction and fabrication processes in the development of a decoration project.

Students must have proficiency in English with academic IELTS score of 6.0 or TOEFL (iBT) score of 60 or Certificate III in English for Further Study at TAFE NSW or equivalent. A portfolio must be submitted.
