पाठ्यक्रमबारे सारश

In this course, students will gain skills and knowledge in engagement, assessment, monitoring and referral; understanding laws affecting clients and workers; dealing with people in crisis; understanding theoretical models; culturally sensitive and inclusive practice; networking and homelessness. They are encouraged to apply to tertiary institutions that offer courses in the human services/social welfare areas. They will gain advocacy skills; skills in case work processes, including engagement, assessment, monitoring, and referral and case closure; knowledge of the community services system; understanding of the laws affecting clients and workers; skills in dealing with people in crisis; understanding of theoretical models; communication skills; skills for culturally sensitive and inclusive practice and reflective practice skills.

अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विद्यार्थीहरू प्रवेशको लागि आवश्यकता

Students must be at least 20 years of age at the commencement of the course and are required to have completed one year paid and/or volunteer work experience in the community services sector. IELTS 5.5 or higher (or recognized equivalents) is required.
