पाठ्यक्रमबारे सारश
This course is for people who work, or want to work, in the events industry as an events manager, festival manager, sports events manager, arts events manager, corporate events manager or similar. Students will develop the knowledge of the events industry and acquire a range of management, budgetary and event specific skills including the selection of appropriate venues, development of event concepts, IT skills for events, risk management, operational planning and event specific project management. Career opportunities include event coordinator, venue coordinator, conference coordinator, exhibitions coordinator. Graduates may apply for the Advanced Diploma of Events or articulation into University degree programs in Tourism Management.

Students must have completed Year 10 or equivalent plus Certificate III in an Events related field including Certificate III in business, entertainment, hospitality, music, sport and recreation or tourism, or equivalent. They must also demonstrate English language ability such as, suitable results of a recent academic IELTS - score 5.5 overall with no individual band lower than 5.0, or TOEFL (iBT) 51, or successful completion of TAFE NSW Certificate III in English for Further Study, or proof that the medium of instruction at school has been in English with satisfactory grades in English in final examinations.
