This course will cover three main areas: practical horse management; business management and pasture/farm/property/infrastructure management. Successful completion of the Diploma of Horse Breeding (Stud Management) may lead to study at a Bachelor degree level. Graduates of this course may gain entry into a wide range of occupations available within the horse breeding industry and with any associated equine enterprises such as licensing bodies, equine dentists, transport, media, publishing and bloodstock.

Students must have completed an Australian Year 12 (or recognized equivalent) or relevant work experience. IELTS 5.5 or higher (or recognized equivalents) is required. Mature Age students are encouraged to apply.
