पाठ्यक्रमबारे सारश
This course includes all units/subjects of the Certificate III in Hospitality Commercial Cookery as well as a number of management units/subjects. Students have the option of: Option I: Enrolling in the Diploma and completing it over a two-year period. The first year involves completing the commercial cookery subjects from the Certificate III and the second year involves work experience and the management subjects required to be awarded the Diploma. Option II: Enrolling in the Certificate III and completing it over one year and then, if they wish to, upgrading to the diploma at a later date over a further one year period comprising work experience and the required management subjects. The course aims to develop hospitality management/ supervisory skills in addition to commercial cookery skills. It enables students to acquire, develop and practice the knowledge and skills required at middle-level management within a hospitality operation learning outcomes for this course involve complex and highly specific functions relating to commercial cooking, planning, budgeting, financial management strategies and leadership.
