पाठ्यक्रमबारे सारश
This course helps students with an interest in interior decoration and design to develop knowledge and skills to work in this exciting professional field. Technical, CAD and freehand drawing skills are taught together with Product Knowledge, Oral Communications and Art History to prepare the students for client presentation. Upon successful completion of 16 specified modules in year one, students are eligible to receive the Certificate IV in Arts (Interior Decoration). Students who successfully complete the full course are eligible to receive the Diploma of Arts (Interior Decoration and Design). Graduates are encouraged to apply for the following degree courses: Swinburne University of Technology (Bachelor of Design-Interior and Exhibition Design); Monash University (Bachelor of Interior Architecture); and RMIT University (Bachelor of Arts - Interior Design). They may seek employment as: interior design consultants, operating either from specialized retail outlets, or individually; contract commercial specialists; employees of interior design departments of domestic or commercial companies; and assistants in architectural practices.

Students should have a good record at Year 11 level or the overseas equivalent. They must satisfy English language proficiency level of IELTS 5.5, ISLPR 2+, TOEFL 197 (CB) or 46 (iBT), PTE Academic Score of 42 (no communicative skill score less than 42), Cambridge English: Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) of 47 or equivalent.
