This course is designed to provide the students with the skills, knowledge, applications and attitudes required to develop a successful career for an artist and manage artists both at the local and international level. They can also learn to develop and manage music industry budgets, develop artists and repertoire and learn to risk manage concerts and other types of shows. Career opportunities include: artist manager, tour manager, legal and administrative manager.

Students must have completed Year 10 or equivalent plus completion of 19369 Certificate IV in Music Business or equivalent. They must demonstrate the ability to play a musical instrument or sing in tune and in time, display a musical expression and show evidence of musical technical ability. They must also demonstrate English language ability such as, suitable results of a recent academic IELTS - score 5.5 overall with no individual band lower than 5.0, or TOEFL (iBT) 51, or successful completion of TAFE NSW Certificate III in English for Further Study, or proof that the medium of instruction at school has been in English with satisfactory grades in English in final examinations.
