पाठ्यक्रमबारे सारश
In this hands on course, students learn skills for creating, producing and presenting both radio and television programs. Students produce their own television show HIT TV, broadcast on community television station, Channel 31. They will also produce and present radio shows from the Chadstone campus radio studio and broadcast on SYN Radio 90.7FM. Students also participate in industry work experience. Jobs relevant to this qualification include radio and television producer/presenter, camera/lighting operator, sound or picture editor, production assistant. Students may gain entry into the second year of the Advanced Diploma in Screen at Waverley which also continues to the Degree in Screen. Students may also gain entry into the Swinburne University Graduate Diploma in Commercial Radio. Other Universities also offer a range of media courses that recognise skills attained.

Students should have a good record at Year 11 level or the overseas equivalent and preferably some relevant work experience. They must satisfy English language proficiency level of IELTS 5.5, ISLPR 2+, TOEFL 197 (CB) or 46 (iBT), PTE Academic Score of 42 (no communicative skill score less than 42), Cambridge English: Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) of 47 or equivalent.
