This program aims to prepare graduates for future roles in managing people, equipment, materials, technological processes and funds in the construction, building and maintenance of buildings and assets in the civil infrastructure. This aim is facilitated by the study of advanced management and engineering techniques in the fields of construction, building and maintenance. These programs will provide graduates with an opportunity to gain advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of construction and infrastructure management principles, procurement and cost analysis. The programs will also assist in up-skilling local and international graduates in state-of-the-art Australian professional engineering. Graduates can follow careers as a construction manager, project engineer/manager, civil engineer or asset management engineer in a range of industries including consulting engineering, construction, research organisations, private sector, local and other government authorities.

Students should have recognized bachelor degree in engineering, building or architecture with an overall average of 60 per cent. Students should have any one of the following requirements: English for Academic Purposes Advanced level certificate at the undergraduate level (EAP 5: UG-65 per cent ); or, Obtaining a minimum IELTS overall band of 6.0 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0; or, a TOEFL (Paper-based) minimum score of 550 (with Test of Written English (TWE) score of 5); or, a TOEFL (Computer-based) minimum score of 213 (with Written Writing score of 5); or, a TOEFL (Internet-based) minimum score of 80 with no band less than 20.
