This is a practical TESOL training program, designed to produce graduates with the attitudes, competence and knowledge that will enable them to: gain the skills and understanding necessary to teach English to speakers of other languages; and focus on practical classroom methodology and language awareness. Upon successful completion of this course, students are eligible to receive the Graduate Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Successful completion of this program may open opportunities for employment in areas not available to CELTA graduates. The Holmesglen Graduate Certificate in TESOL articulates into the Charles Sturt University Graduate Diploma / Masters in TESOL and Deakin University Masters in TESOL. In this way the course becomes part of an attractive teacher training package: CELTA course (or equivalent); Graduate Certificate in TESOL (six months); and Graduate Diploma in TESOL.
अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विद्यार्थीहरू प्रवेशको लागि आवश्यकता
Students must have an undergraduate degree; and IELTS 7.0 (Academic), TOEFL 94 (iBT), PTE Academic Score of 65 (no communicative skill score less than 65), Cambridge English: Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) of 67; and an initial course of teacher training in TESOL and CELTA.
