पाठ्यक्रमबारे सारश
This course seeks to develop students' skills in translation to and from English and another language, and their awareness of practical and theoretical approaches to translation and translation studies. The main languages available are Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Spanish. Other languages may be available depending on student numbers. Students will be given a foundation in theories of translation and will also receive training in research on translation studies.

Students must have a bachelors degree with a major in a language (level should be equivalent of three years post- VCE study). They must have achieved the following English language proficiency test results: IELTS (minimum test score of 6.5 overall; no individual band less than 6.0); Paper-based TOEFL (minimum test score of 580; a Test of Written English (TWE) score of at least 4.5); Internet-based TOEFL (a score of at least 90 overall; a Writing score of at least 22; no score lower than 20 on the other sections of the test); Cambridge English CAE (A grade); Cambridge English CEP (C grade).
