Students should complete Arts Bachelor w/ first or Upper second Class Honours or equivalent Research background. Students should satisfy IELTS overall band score of 6.5 (no individual band less than 6), TOEFL minimum score of 573 including TWE of 5 (or a Computer based TOEFL score of 232 with an essay rating of 5 or better), TOEFL IBT score of 88 with no score below 22 and other evidence of English language proficiency may be acceptable. Details can be obtained from ECU International.

The student villages provide a modern friendly environment in self-catering units for a total of 366 students. All villages are located on-campus and close to all campus facilities. Local shops and sport and recreation facilities are within walking distance or easily accessible by public transport. The Off-Campus Housing Service (OCHS) is a free service open to all students and staff of the University. As a referral and resource service, the OCHS provides access to computers, use of telephones, access to maps, bus routes and information on leases or contracts.
