This program will provide knowledge, skills and practical strategies to work as a leader within schools and communities in an inter-professional and inclusive way. The course uses assets and strengths-based development theories as they apply to individuals, families, schools, communities and regions. Students will develop an understanding of contemporary global, regional and local issues affecting schools and communities and an understanding of the theory and practice of community development in a variety of socio-cultural contexts. Through this students will gain deeper insight into the processes used by strength-based community and education leaders and change agents students will gain skills in researching, planning, implementing and evaluating programs relevant to schools and community development initiatives and develop an understanding of issues and challenges in the leadership of effective inter-professional education.

Students must have a degree in a relevant area or equivalent as approved by the University. In addition they should have fulfilled English language requirements with minimum IELTS score of 6.5 (academic) or equivalent.
