पाठ्यक्रमबारे सारश
This program is a one year full-time course which offers two paths of study. Option A requires the completion of a thesis (maximum 25,000 words); Option B, consists of coursework plus a thesis (maximum 20,000 words). For option B, the admissions committee will recommend two units of study for completion in the first semester of study. Assessment of each of these units of study will be based on 5000-6000 words of written work. Candidates undertake supervised research on a topic approved by the Faculty and submit a thesis which embodies the results of the research. Master of Education candidates may undertake research in one of the following research centres: Arts, English and Literacy Education research Network; China Education Centre; Centre for Research in Computer Supported Learning and Cognition; Policy and Professional Practice Research Network; Social Policy Research Network; TESOL Research Network; University of Sydney Network for Childhood and Youth Research; Youth Sport and Health research Network.

Students must hold a bachelor's degree with a grade point average of 70 per cent for their final year of study; hold a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of study and a one year Diploma of Education, with a grade point average of at least 70 per cent in the final year of study; hold a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of study and a bachelor or master of teaching degree with a grade point average of at least 70 per cent in the final year of study, or hold a bachelor's degree deemed by the faculty to be of a standard acceptable in the opinion of the faculty. They must satisfy IELTS score of 6.5 (min 6.0 in each band) or TOEFL minimum result of 577 overall including a minimum result of 4.5 in writing or IBT score of 90 (minimum 23 in writing and 22 in reading, listening and speaking).
