This course will be suited to candidates with a professional interest in the fields of economic and social infrastructure, procurement, local government, public policy and regulation, project advisory services, engineering, project and risk management, finance, traffic studies, planning and public administration. The objective of this degree is to develop a specialised knowledge and understanding of the critical elements of major project procurement and infrastructure management. Former students include executives at all levels of government and industry, engineers, project managers, financiers, construction companies, consultants, fund managers, investors, facility managers, transport operators, lawyers and economists engaged in the sector. Graduates working in government will further their careers in the areas of policy, risk measurement and management, regulation, industry economics, local government, urban infrastructure, governance (audit services), project management and procurement. Graduates working in the private sector may adopt specialisations in the fields of alliance contracting, public private partnerships, investment analysis, project finance, risk management and advisory services.

Students should have successful completion of any undergraduate degree, qualifications and / or relevant professional experience deemed equivalent by the institute’s director. They must also have proficiency in English with IELTS score of 6.5 (no sub score less than 6.0); TOEFL score 570 (TWE 5); (CBT 230, essay 5.0, iBT 89 (min) all sections 20, writing 22) for direct entry.
