This is a contemporary flagship degree of the Faculty of Business. The degree has been especially designed to equip graduates with the international business skills they will need in managing a global environment of continuous change. The degree is designed to exploit existing opportunities in the global environment but also to explore new and demanding business challenges. Graduates of the degree could be expected to be in demand for positions in export or import firms, foreign affairs and Government departments, human resource management such as repatriation and training, international liaison positions, logistics management, marketing and management consultancies, and purchasing and trade positions. The degree will be ideal for graduates wishing to work in global corporations and will offer membership to selected institutions such as the Australian Institute of Management. Graduates will be eligible for membership in the Australian Institute of Management. All students may apply for membership also of Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management, the Academy of International Business, and the Australian and New Zealand International Business Academy.

Students must have a bachelor's degree in business or related field from a recognised higher education institution with a minimum of a GPA of 4 (on a 7 point scale) or equivalent; or the USC Graduate Certificate in Management with a minimum of a GPA of 4 (on a 7 point scale) or equivalent approved course of study. Students must have the following English Language requirements which includes successful completion of Direct Entry English Pathway with a minimum grade of 70 percent, IELTS (Academic) - 6.5 (minimum of 6.0 in all subtests), TOEFL (Paper-based) - 550 with essay score of 4, TOEFL (Internet-based) overall score of 85 (minimum writing score 21 and minimum score of 20 in all sections), pass in Cambridge Certificates and Pearson Test of English (PTE) with overall score of 64 with no communicative skill score less than 58.
