In this program, students will be required to complete a set of eight core courses designed to introduce students to threshold concepts central to effective business administration. Students are required to complete eight specialization courses designed to advance their individual knowledge and competencies in areas of management relevant to their personal goals. These programs increase the competency of managers to evaluate the appropriateness of advice provided externally and internally and to utilize that information to make decisions consistent with achieving sustainable outcomes for multiple stakeholders. The development of these cross-disciplinary skills will lead to a range of employment opportunities in public or private sector organizations with the specific opportunity depending upon the graduate's previous experience and area of specialization within the MBA. This specialization increases the competency of managers to evaluate and utilize contemporary human resource knowledge and professional skills to enable them to specialize in human resources or work closely with human resource specialists in a broader role in the organization. Business now involves a triple bottom-line, where people and planet are important, not just profit. Concerns over global warming, climate change and social injustice indicate how critical it is for business leaders to be prepared for this new environment. This specialization aims to create a new generation of business leaders who contribute to the creation of sustainable and inclusive markets by providing a framework for understanding the challenges and opportunities ahead. Students will learn how to manage business whilst creating a positive change in society through developing a better understanding of the role, dynamics and impact of corporations in the creation of social, environmental and economic value.

Students must achieve a grade point average of 5.0 after completing the first 80 credit points of coursework in the Griffith Master of Business Administration program (only courses studied in the Griffith MBA program will be considered for the purpose of calculating the required grade point average). To be eligible for articulation to the Master of Business Administration (Advanced) with Honors program, a student must achieve a grade point average of 5.0 after completing the first 80 credit points of coursework in the Griffith Master of Business Administration program (only courses studied in the Griffith MBA program will be considered for the purpose of calculating the required grade point average) and obtain a minimum GPA of 5.5 across the best four core courses (40CP) undertaken within the MBA program and also submit a suitable topic and supervisory arrangements elaborated in a research proposal of not less than 1000 words. Students should satisfy a minimum English language requirements, a minimum score of 550 on TOEFL or a computerised TOEFL score of 213 or an internet-based (iBT) TOEFL score of 79 (no score less than 19) or a minimum overall band score of 6.0 on IELTS (Academic) with no sub-score of less than 5.5 or no score less than three in each skill of the ISLPR and English test results must be no more than two years old. They must have completed Year 12 of secondary school or equivalent academic achievement. They must have prerequisites of English (4SA).
