This programme is designed to provide a high quality and professionally relevant undergraduate programme, developing in students a sound understanding of banking and finance and its applications. They are also encouraged to be critical thinkers and learners that will enable them to embark on further learning and professional career developments. The programme objective includes: core of academic knowledge, understanding and technical skills related to the finance and banking industry; an awareness of the broader contextual issues influencing banking and finance; an appreciation of the management and organisational behavioural theories and practices; an appreciation of the significance of key legal, economic, and banking and finance concepts to the business organisation; knowledge and understanding of the main current and alternative technical language and practices within banking and finance from an international perspective; knowledge and understanding of theories and empirical evidence concerning the effects of banking and finance in various contexts and the ability to critically evaluate such theories and evidence.

The modules include Banking Operations, Corporate Finance, Financial Markets and Institutions, Industrial Project, Organizational Behaviour, Research Methods.

Applicants with 18 years of age should have completed their relevant EASB Diploma or Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent academic qualification from a recognized higher learning institution. They should also demonstrate their proficiency in English language with IELTS score of 5.0 or TOEFL score of 500 or minimum EASB ETEDP level 2.

East Asia Institute of Management’s rise to current prominence as one of Singapore‘s Top Private Education organization, began 25 years ago in 1984 was founded in 2001. As a training and consultancy outfit back then, dedicated to the provision of trained IT software professionals for the Republic's burgeoning IT industry, the success of this pioneering endeavor quickly led to the company's expansion into Information Technology and Management (ITM) Associates in 1989, in tandem with, and response to, the upgrading of the national economy into a high-tech and high value-adding economy. The Balestier campus is among the largest single location private education facility in Singapore, with a land area of 18,000 sq metres and built-up area of more than 37,000 sq metres. It is also fully equipped to meet the learning and recreational needs of up to 6,000 enrolled students. New state-of-the-art facilities will include 60 classrooms and mini-lecture theatres; one students’ learning centre; library; one computer and language laboratory; videoconference room; admin office floor; postgraduate resource centre; hospitality training centre; multi-purpose hall; two badminton courts; three basketball courts; one cricket pitch; two tennis courts; a running track; a fitness gym; and a pool and games room. Besides the new Balestier campus, EASB has plans for another campus in Henderson with a capacity for 2,500 enrolled students. It will be used to house the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff (UWIC) Asia Campus in Singapore. With a widely expanded portfolio of programmes, solid infrastructure of regional offices, an up-to-date fully equipped campus, a newly established hostel facility and the accumulated managerial expertise of private sector education, EASB is poised for a new phase of rapid growth.
