This course entails the management of patients with life-threatening illnesses in intensive care settings of hospitals. The Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Critical Care) provides students with the necessary in-depth knowledge and understanding of nursing and medical management as well as the advanced critical and technical skills required for practice in this specialty.

Modules include HS8012 Healthcare Management, HS8013 Advanced Nursing Practice, HS8111 Advanced Pathophysiology in Critical Care Nursing, HS8112 Psychosocial Perspectives in Critical Care Nursing, HS8113 Health Assessment, HS8119 Advanced Critical Care Nursing I, HS8120 Advanced Critical Care Nursing II, HS 8121 Research and evidence-based practice, HS8122 Advanced Critical Care Nursing Practice.

Applicants should have a Diploma in Nursing from the Polytechnics in Singapore or an equivalent qualification; Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board. They should have a minimum of 6 months post-registration experience is preferred.
