पाठ्यक्रमबारे सारश
This program provides students with specialized perioperative knowledge and skills to manage patients safely in the operating theatre suite. The course also prepares students to manage and maintain the operating theatre environment, surgical equipment and instruments; to assist in the surgical procedures of various surgical disciplines; and to function in areas of nursing management, education and clinical research.

Modules include HS8012 Health care Management, HS8013 Advanced Nursing Practice, HS8411 Advanced Pathophysiology in Perioperative Nursing, HS8412 Psychosocial Perspectives in Perioperative Nursing, HS8413 Health Assessment, HS8419 Advanced Perioperative Nursing and Specialist Surgery I, HS8420 Advanced Perioperative Nursing and Specialist Surgery II, HS8421 Research and Evidence Based Practice, HS8422 Advanced Perioperative Nursing Clinical Practice.

Students should have a Diploma in Nursing from Nanyang Polytechnic or an equivalent qualification and must be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board. A minimum of six months post-registration experience is preferred.
