पाठ्यक्रमबारे सारश
This program combines the concepts and methods from economics that are relevant for management and demonstrates its applications. It also equips them with quantitative and logical reasoning skills which are essential for effective manager and entrepreneurs. It is recommended if they wish to obtain a general education in those disciplines that underlie the theory and practice of management, while still specialising in economics; interested in general management or if they want to pursue further training in management and corporate disciplines. It provides wide career opportunities including general management, banking, accountancy, financial planning, etc.

The modules in year 1 include 02 Introduction to Economics, 04a Statistics 1 (half unit), 05a Mathematics 1 (half unit), 21 Principles of Sociology, 25 Principles of Accounting; year 2: 97 Management Accounting, 65 Macroeconomics (02 + 05a), 107 Introduction to Business Management, (select one): 28 Managerial Economics (02 + 05a), 66 Microeconomics (02 + 05a); year 3: 15 Monetary Economics (65), 127 Organisation Theory (02 or 21 or 75), 75 Human Resource Management, (one from): 119 Strategy (02 + 05a), 32 Management Science Method (04a + 05a).

Applicants must attain 17 years of age as of 1 September of the year of admission. They should have 2 'a' level passes at h2 level and 3 'o' level passes including English language C6 and above. Those who do not meet the 'O' level mathematics requirement may apply and maths bridging course with Stansfield College to fulfill the requirement. They should have score of 580 (or 237 on the computer base) in TOEFL plus TWE with a score of 4.5 (or a writing rating of 4.5). Alternatively an internet based TOEFL (iBt) score of 92, at least 22 in both reading and writing skills sub-tests and at least 20 in both speaking and listening skills sub-tests. They should have an overall score of at least 6 with a minimum of 5.5 in each of the four sub-tests of IELTS.
